Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if we are a good fit?
The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in your progress. I offer a free 20-minute consultation call for residents across California to discuss your goals, my culturally responsive approach, and whether my expertise in anxiety, depression, perimenopause, and workplace stress aligns with your needs.
Do you see clients in person or via telehealth?
I provide secure, HIPAA-compliant video therapy sessions throughout California. This allows busy professionals in the Bay Area and beyond to access consistent support without the stress of a commute. I also offer Walk & Talk therapy for those seeking an outdoor, movement-based experience.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider and do not take insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your provider to ask about your out-of-network behavioral health benefits.
Nature-Based “Walk & Talk” therapy
Where do Walk & Talk sessions take place?
We meet at predetermined trailhead locations or parks throughout San Jose, Santa Clara, and Campbell. Locations are chosen for safety, accessibility, and the natural grounding they provide during sessions.
What about privacy and confidentiality outdoors?
Confidentiality is a priority. We discuss boundaries before your first outdoor session—such as what to do if we run into someone you know. While the setting is public, the Walk & Talk format often looks like a casual conversation, which can provide a layer of social anonymity.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
If there is inclement weather or poor air quality, we will pivot to a secure video session at your scheduled time. Your consistency and safety are top priorities.
At the heart of my work is the belief that growth is always possible—and that clarity, care, and intention can guide meaningful change.
